If Indy select Andrew Luck and we stick with Gabbert we will arguably be starting the worst QB in the league but the 6th or 7th best QB in the weakest division in the NFL. Think about it...Manning, Luck, Schaub, Hasselback, Locker...Leinart/Gabbert, Painter...
I know people point the finger at the WRs and the rest of our offense but it's not a position we can afford to ignore.
Gabbert may be our franchise QB of the future but for nothing other than the sake of due diligence who do you like?
Assuming Luck is long gone, and we're picking around 3-7, who are the candidates we should seriously be looking at?
1 . Andrew Luck - Stanford - 6'4 - 235 - Top 2
2 . Matt Barkley - USC - 6'2 - 220 - Top 10
3 . Robert Griffin III - Missouri - 6'2 - 220 - Top 10
4 . Landry Jones - Oklahoma- 6'4 - 230 - Top 20
5 . Geno Smith - West Virginia - 6'3 - 214 - 2nd-3rd
1 . Brandon Weeden - Oklahoma State - 6'4 - 218 - 2nd-3rd
2 . Ryan Tannehill - Texas A&M - 6'4 - 222 - 1st-2nd
3 . Nick Foles - Arizona - 6'5 - 245 - 2nd-3rd
Another QB in a later round?
