Jaguars at Colts: Prediction and Projection
This just in. The Colts are not any good.
I knew that without Peyton Manning they would be bad but they have taken bad to a whole new level.
I am going to give my projections for Rushing, Passing, Defense and how many FG's Josh Scobee will kick.
Rushing: Being a fan of the Chiefs, I saw what the Colts run defense looked like in Week 5. It was not any good. Jackie ran for over 100 yards. Considering that Jackie Battle had been regulated to Special Teams for the most part, that is sad. I see Maurice Jones-Drew and Deji Karim having a good day. MJD goes for 100 yards and a TD and Deji has 50 yards. Oh and before I forget about rushing, I could see Blaine Gabbert run for 30 Yards.
Passing: I am not going to get into receivers here because that is up in the air. Outside of Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis, that is just about it for a pass rush. Considering the Jaguars faced the Steelers, Bengals, Ravens and the Panthers in a monsoon, the team should be ready. And the fact that the Corners the Colts have are not that good will only make it better. I see Blaine Gabbert throwing 250 Yards, 2 or 3 TD's and no INT's. Remember when Dallas made DG look like Brady? I see that happening.
Defense: This defense was bottom of the NFL just a year ago. Now it is easily a top 10 unit. The Colts Offensive Line is in shambles. If Mel sends 2 or 3 guys, that should rattle whoever is under center. You rattle the QB, he will make mistakes. Keep Garcon under wraps and you will be good. Dallas Clark may not play so no need to worry about TE's. I see the Jags defense getting 3 INT's, 4 Sacks and a Force Fumble. A pick 6 is not out of the picture but I am going to give the Colts the benefit of a doubt here.
Josh Scobee should be quiet this week and maybe two FG's.
Prediction: 31-3 Jaguars

with Indy D being as bad as it is, I think the Jags go on an offensive tear and score......
21 points. I know. I never thought this offense was good enough to muster up more than like 17, but I think the just might be able to put up a whopping 21 points on the board.
Who's catching those touchdowns?
I’m not saying that Gabbert won’t be successful vs the Colts. I just don’t think that the Jaguars’ offense is good enough to score 31 points.

I mentioned that I wasn't getting into that
because it is unpredictable. I would say Hill catches 2 and Thomas 1 with MJD running one in and a Scobee FG.
I don’t think Indy will score more than a FG because they would have gotten a shutout had the Corner not intercepted the ball and ran it in.

I thick Blain has a good game.
200+ passing yards and two maybe three TD’s. all of them going to mercedes. i think hes going to have a huge game come sunday. I think he is ready to prove he is not a 1 year wonder and I think he will
A lot of this game
hinges on how good the QB/receiver chemistry is and if Whimper can hold his own at RT. Mathis is no chump, and if Freeney decides to go to his side from time to time, I know Whimper doesn’t match up well against him.
31 points huh?
That’s a bit optomistic… Keep it up.

I'm willing to drink the Kool-ade, but I'm hungry for the truth.
13-10 Jags
Our Offense has made every defense look like a line full of supermans. Until they prove other wise Freeney and Mathis along with Bathea on defense look to scare a happy footed QB. The Colts still have recievers (look at the “s” that mean plural,) that are putting up better numbers than ours and have been doing there thing as far as running and they actually know how to play us we are still one dimensional on offense. If our d has a bad game, I don’t think we win this one.
34-7 Jags

Well my prediction should
hold up. With Clark out, there is no way the Jags lose this game.

not sure what to make of this
but i had a dream last night that the Jags were losing 30-10 to the Colts in the 4th quarter.
