We have almost a billon players on IR last I checked. A WR group that is led by a 3 on some teams, I think a 4 on most teams. A RT that is pathetic, sorry Guy but you had a pathetic performance tonight.
The Jags have an offseason to renew the faith. A new coaching staff. $$ to play with in FA and a sure fire top draft pick. The roster is young and has bright spots. A pro-bowl caliber RB, MLB, DT, FB!!!, OLB in DS I personally love DS so this is less objective than subjective sorry, and K. A decent core of young defenders, Cox, Alualu, Knighton, Poz, ect ect. The Jags have a decent young Oline in Monroe Uche and Rackley. Britton is known to be Brittle but hopefully can still play RT but a replacement maybe necessary.
Man, before this season I was with Vic and thought WR were a dime a dozen. After this season I was like a dime a dozen my .... You catch the drift. I think D-Jax, V-Jax, Bowe, Douglas, or any FA WR would be an upgrade at the position. Jimmity Chistmas it is a wretched site to watch our wide "receivers" try to play.
On to Blaine. Good ol' QB. I hope that this rookie year is not a sign of things to come. It is hard to put the loss on Blaine. To be honest he had little to no help from the Oline to WR's to Dillard muffing a punt return and getting down a billion - 0 in the 2nd quarter letting the ATL DE's to pin back and ruch him. He still made a multitude of mistakes and was not good at all. He still has the dreaded P word - potential. It is the worst word in sports. I have heard it many times and potential means squat until you actually do something with it. So, Blaine has tallent and I trust he will develope to be better than what he is now. I just hope that it is sooner rather than later.
So this is my post game ramble. I may do more if I get positve feedback.
