Blame receivers, Blaine, but offensive line deserves some credit too

At 3-8, the Jaguars offense is largely to blame with a offense ranked last in the league. Yes, the Jaguars have a rookie quarterback that has not looked like a franchise quarterback and the worst receiving core in the league, but our offensive line doesn't know how to pass block.

I think we as Jaguars fans are asking too much too soon out of Blaine. Pocket presence is usually something a quarterback develops over time and right now Blaine doesn't have that. To help a rookie quarterback you need good pass protection and he hasn't had one series, half, or game where he had good protection. This offensive line has been tops in the league in sacks given up over the past few years.

Last year's Dallas Cowboys showed that you can have the best receiving core, but the quarterback still needs enough time to get it to them. So we as fans need to start pointing the finger at offensive line.
