Mike Sherman A Possible Jaguars Coaching Candidate?

Stay connected for news and updates

With the Jacksonville Jaguars head coaching position vacant for all intents and purposes, expect to see a flurry of rumors and speculation on who the coach will be. We've already seen names like Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz mentioned as well as former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick mention he's not a candidate based on their "criteria". The newest coach connected to the Jaguars is rather... curious.

Former Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman could be a candidate for Jacksonville Jaguars head coaching vacancy.

Sherman had just been fired after being the head coach at Texas A&M, where they often fell apart late in games and late in the season. Sound familiar? I'm not sure what to make of the connection, because I don't know very much about Kirk Bohls, the reporter who tweeted the connection. I do know Sherman has past head coaching experience in the NFL, with the Green Bay Packers.
