Jaguars Vs. Titans: Jake Locker could debut against the Jaguars
Or maybe not. Mike Munchak hasn't said anything that would lead anyone to think Jake Locker would get the start if Matt Hasselbeck is healthy, but as Music City Miracles argued, now is the time.
Following a loss to the previously winless Colts, the Titans are hardly in the running for the playoffs any more as it would take a doomsday scenario for them to get in to the postseason. One loss or one Bengals win over the next two weeks would be enough to eliminate the Titans as well as several other scenarios.
Through the first eight games of the season, Hasselbeck threw 13 touchdowns and six interceptions as the Titans pushed themselves into the thick of the playoffs race, but recently there have been questions whether or not he is injured. In the last six games he's thrown just two touchdowns with six interceptions and has seemingly been afraid to pass downfield.
Out of the 40 passes he threw against the Colts, just four were over 10 yards downfield and not a single pass eclipsed 20 yards in the air. That means 36 of his passes were under 10 yards and that was a large factor in the Colts holding the Titans to just 13 points.
With both teams essentially out of playoff contention, the storylines between the rivals are thin, but the starting quarterback for the Titans is one that will garner some interest. The Jaguars could be the first ones that 8th overall pick, Jake Locker, starts against in his NFL career.

Gabbert will be better than Locker,
Gabbet just needs to get on the same page as his receivers, get some better receivers, his line needs to block better, and Gabbert will be pretty good.
Anyone interested in making money easy and quick on the interne, let me know through twitter or facebook(preferably facebook).

Sadly
In the limited time he has played this season, especially against New Orleans a week ago, Locker has looked levels better than Gabbert… and I mean levels.

The circumstances are different for Locker and Gabbert.
Why do people choose to ignore the circumstance. Uhhhh Dalton, Newton, Ponder are better wahhhhhh! Whimper just got blown up, Gabbert couldn’t step up! Gabbert Sucks!!!! Gabbert threw a nice ball. Thomas/Lewis et al dropped it. Gabbert sucks bawls!!!!!
Be careful
Who you sling at. I’ve been anything but a panic monger with Gabbert, like some other have admittedly been. I have however questioned Gabbert.
You say all the time everyone thinks in black and white. Maybe so, yourself included. Don’t waffle on circumstances.

I hate to say this...
but it is my theory that Gene wanted Locker and went and got Blaine out of desperation. It’s just a theory, don’t beat me up lol.

I sort of agree with Frank
I have no evidence to support this, but I have this feeling that Locker was Gene’s guy.

I disagree.
I don’t know where I seen or heard this but supposedly, Blaine was Gene’s highest rated player on his board. Yours is a theory and mine is speculation so there is no telling what the truth really is.
I didn't hear or see it anywhere.
It’s just a possibility me and a couple friends were discussing.

I would love for Mel Tucker to coach against Jake Locker in his first NFL start
