They need to fill so many holes. There isn't anyone who is so indispensable among the top 15 or so choices in the draft that they can't trade back at least once, and hopefully several times to accumulate extra picks. A lot of Smith's small school reaches are looking like lost causes. I can't see Karim, Dillard, Shorts, etc. lasting long in the league. As far as WR are concerned, there seems to be a lot of big guys to choose from, going deep into the third day of the draft. Lots of pass catching tight ends as well. So, with extra picks, they can get four or five quality receiving prospects out of the draft, I think. That makes much more sense than staking it all on a guy like Blackmon. Also they could use a couple O linemen and a couple defensive backs. I'd like to see them make at least 10 picks during the 2012 draft.
