The Jaguars have released the inactive list for tonight's game against the Chargers and the biggest surprise is that Deji Karim has been ruled inactive. Dan LeFevour, T.J. Heath, John Estes, Aaron Kampman, Matt Roth and Corvey Irvin round out the rest of the players ruled out by the Jaguars.
The team also announced that Jarett Dillard will get the start at receiver opposite Mike Thomas, Kevin Rutland will start at cornerback opposite Ashton Youboty and Leger Douzable will again start at defensive end in place of Matt Roth. The defensive line will get a boost with the return of Terrance Knighton to the lineup.
There is no word yet who will be returning kickoffs for the Jaguars, but it is clear that the team will be giving DuJuan Harris a hard look in the place of Karim at running back. Karim has had a disappointing 2011, averaging just 2.0 yards per carry, and he has now been benched following -2 total yards of offense on four touches against the Texans.
The Chargers announced WR Bryan Walters, CB Shareece Wright, LB Na'il Diggs, OL Ikechuku Ndukwe, T Brandyn Dombrowski, LB Everette Brown, DE Luis Castillo as their inactive players.
