Lets get down to it....
1) I don't want to sound pessimistic, but i do not believe the jags win more than 2 more games. They beat the Bucs this weekend and the Colts in the last week of the season. But regardless the Bucs game isn't as important as the Ind. game because we can not end the season on another losing streak. Am i saying I want the Jags to lose. No. It would help their draft pick ,but we also need St. Louis, and maybe Minnesota and Carolina, to end up with better records than us so we can get a good WR we can call our number one.
2) As most of agree on we don't need a QB in the draft. Gabbert given protection, weapons outside of Mojo, and a real QB coach could be very good maybe not a Payton Manning or Tom Brady but more like a Eli Manning who can get you win. And ignore Gruden, those of you besides myself that watch the Monday night game on t.v., Grumman doesn't know when to shut his mouth and think logically before he says something
3) Regardless of how the season ends Mel Tucker should remain Head Coach. For starters, it's not fair to judge him now when half the defense is out and looking like they did Monday night. So your best evaluation is what happens next year. Also if you don't leave him at H.C. he may leave and not want to be demoted back down to the D.C.. At least if next year is bad, knock on wood, we have an argument of why to demote him back down.
4) People are sometimes stupid and going to hate on us just cause we are jags fans, it really all depends on where your at. So screw ESPN and that stupid Accuscore thing they have that somehow always has the jags losing. Soon we will get our turn to say we are the best its just a matter of time that we get what we deserve. RESPECT.

Way past that....
We’re way past wins and losses for this season. The last 4 games are for evaluting talent and correcting mistakes.
What you should be looking for is progress and it might be too minute to see. You’re looking for DBs to turn their hips properly while in coverage. You’re looking for OLs to perfect their footwork in both the passing and running game. You’re looking for BG to focus on one or two of the finer points that he and Koetter see that he’s doing incorrectly. You’re looking at WRs perfecting their route running – from the number of steps to their break to the distance they travel to the break. Minutiae that’s invisible to you and I, but pays dividends if the players GET IT. Repetition. Repetition. Repetition.
i understand that, playing football myself, but its more evaluation for the players because i don’t believe this is the time to judge Tucker besides if we stay in the game. The only best way to evaluate Tucker is to see how the players are in practice, a little bit on how they play, but mostly what he does next year. THis is the time for the players to show why they should come back next year and to help them fix their mistakes so if they aren’t back next year they can have a chance to go somewhere else.
