Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 76th ranked player, Florida safety Ahmad Black.
Height: 5-9
Weight: 183lbs
PROS: Good speed for the safety position. Despite his size, not afraid to be physical and make tackles. Has experience at corner and can play man coverage on some receivers. Good instincts and knows how to put himself in position for a play.
CONS: Size will be a concern and scare some teams off. Adding some bulk will make it less an issue, but he’s a liability in jump ball situations. Can get out muscled by bigger receivers. Best when playing deep zone where he can read the quarterbacks eyes.
