The Jaguars organization is trying to create new forms of stadium entertainment to create an experience that fans can't feel at home. It made me start to think, because I couldn't imagine Jacksonville without the Jaguars. Check my bright idea out after the jump that could possibly bring life to Everbank Field and make it a homefield advantage!
With out putting my business out there, I am lucky to be from a city that has 2 great bands...Florida State University Marching Chiefs(World known warchant) and Florida A&M University Marching 300(Which you go to the game JUST to watch them, not the football team). Soooo by now you now where I am going with this right?. I moved here in Duval in 07' and fell in love with the Jaguars and have stuck with them since thick and thin. After attending the Jaguar games, I noticed the nfl experience has a lot more.......corporate feel to the game. To put it simple, its too quite at times. It was totally different for me, though it was nice to see nfl stars on the field. But instead of hearing a fight song during timeouts, you here bad music on a terrible sound system. The nfl hasn't been in Jacksonville that long, so most of are college fans at heart(Seminoles, Gators, Bulldogs, and Hurricane fans). So why not create a more college atmosphere? Why not have a band play a funky jam when we score a touchdown, which can potentially become apart of Jaguar tradition in the future. Not just a DRUMLINE! Are you kidding me!!!!!! We love our bands in the south, so I think this will also help us die hard college fans transition to die hard Jaguar fans that actually go the game. What do you think?
