Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 73rd ranked player, Louisville cornerback Johnny Patrick.
Height: 5-10
Weight: 185lbs
PROS: Average height for the position with decent speed. Good production in his college career. Not afraid to come support the run and plays physical with receivers. Good in both man and zone coverage, but excells in off-coverage.
CONS: Overall speed is a question mark. Gets beat when playing press coverage. Character concerns, was arrested in 2010 for throwing a woman to the ground. Falls victim to play action fakes and gets caught looking in the backfield. Originally was a wide receiver, might have to start his career as a nickel specialist.
