Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 65th ranked player, West Virginia safety Robert Sands.
Height: 6-5
Weight: 220lbs
PROS: Fantastic size for the position in the NFL. Great combination of size and speed. Does a good job of going up for the football and will make teams question throwing jump balls deep down the field. Has good change of direction ability and has experience playing the corner position. Plays with a good motor and flys to the football. Can deliver big hits.
CONS: Top end speed is a question mark. Sometimes plays too fast and runs himself out of a play with bad angles. Struggles in man coverage. Gets caught looking in the backfield with play action at times.
