Alfie's Player Ranking 59 out of 100
Projected Round: 3
Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 59th ranked player, Arkansas tight end D.J. Williams.
Height: 6-2
Weight: 238lbs
PROS: Very athletic tight end that’s a match up nightmare for linebackers. Good speed for the position and makes a lot of plays in the passing game. Knows how to find the holes in the zone and doesn’t drop many passes. Uses his hands to catch the football. Breaks tackles and is an adequate blocker for his size.
CONS: Likes ideal NFL tight end build. Will likely be in the roll of a Dallas Clark or Aaron Hernandez, more of a slot tight end/H-back. Needs to work on his route running and his overall speed is a question. Won’t be able to help out blocking on the line of scrimmage.
