Hmmm... looks like he's almost been re-signed to a one year contract. Sounds like insurance for the upcoming year if we draft a developmental QB... otherwise, i have no clue... who would'a thunk? ha

Makes sense

Makes sense. He’s better than Edwards and very well could have started some games if he didn’t tear his ACL. I know Gene Smith likes him a lot.

Are you guys like me

and totally shocked by what I felt was little if any improvement from Edwards from the Titans game where he came in to spell DG to the Texans game. He looked awful and there were plenty of downfield shots for the taking.

I was really hoping he’d give some competition.

I certainly was. I didn’t think he was that terrible in the Titans game, but he just looked completely scared against the Texans.

agreement!

he did the best he could vs. the Titans but it was as if he just rode it out and collected his check then got thrown into the Texans game.

Thats exactly what happened

He didn’t do anything from the time he was signed until that final game. And as a result he looked awful. He should be cut just for that, as its obvious his work ethic isn’t where it needs to be.

If hip hop is dead, then it happened the day that Dilla died.

I don't think it's work ethic

I think he’s too smart for his own good. I think he see’s the long ball as too big a risk to make, when he knows the short completion is the sure bet. I wasn’t surprised at all by his performance against the Texans, he had multiple seasons with the Bills that produced the same “Trentative” results.

I will say this for Trent, he certainly looks the part of the QB. Reminded me of “Sunshine” from Remember the Titans.

Coach Crennel, if all of your Coors Lights can talk what happens when you open your fridge? There's generally "Hoopla" involved.

its ironic...

The O line looked like total crap those 2 games as well. Kinda makes you wonder why we lost DG and Trent got his ass kicked. Live and die by the QB.
