Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 57th ranked player, Clemson defensive tackle Jarvis Jenkins.
Height: 6-4
Weight: 309lbs
PROS: Good athlete for his size. Explodes off the snap and can collapse the pocket and cause disruption in the backfield. Difficult to block one on one, as he has an nice bull rush complimented with a nice spin move. Powerful player who often requires a double team. Might interest a team as a 3-4 nose tackle with some added weight.
CONS: Doesn’t play with great leverage against the pass, can get to high and be controlled. Gets worn down in games, considered mostly a two-down player at the next level unless his conditioning improves.
