Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 56th ranked player, USC defensive tackle Jurrell Casey.
Height: 6-1
Weight: 300lbs
PROS: Disruptive defensive lineman. Gets a good jump on the snap and uses his hands well. Can anticipate the snap and shoot his gaps. Already has a nice array of pass rushing moves and is solid against the run. Durable player with a good motor.
CONS: A little short for a 4-3 defensive tackle. Struggles to get off his blocks and can get swalloed by double teams. Has a reputation for being a bit lazy in the gym and in practice. Relies on his speed and doesn’t have much power, can get moved in the running game.
