Alfie's Player Ranking 98 out of 100
Projected Round: 3
Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 98th ranked player, Virginia Tech defensive back Rashad Carmichael.
Height: 5-9
Weight: 185lbs
PROS: Excellent speed for the corner position who plays with a good motor. Has a nose for the football. Always looks to cause a turnover when he's in coverage or pursuing a runner with the football. Has experience playing both man and zone coverage.
CONS: Shorter and lighter than most teams look for in a corner, but his frame will allow him to add some bulk. Not very physical and will get bet trying to play press coverage in the NFL. Doesn't tackle well in the open field. Won't offer much in run support.
