Today continues my countdown to the Top 100 draftable players of the 2011 NFL Draft. We move on to my 92nd ranked player, Miami offensive tackle Orlando Franklin.
Height: 6-7
Weight: 314lbs
PROS: Good size for the tackle position. Good athlete who offers versatility on the offensive line. Good footwork and anchors well against bull rushers. Good run blocker with good strength and can move people off the football. Aggressive blocker who shows a mean streak.
CONS: Best fit might be kicking inside to guard. Footwork and technique need work, will get beat by outside pass rushers. Relies on his size to slow down smaller defensive lineman instead of his ability. Overextends and will lower his head when trying to engage.
