2011 NFL Draft Profile: Justin Rogers

Stay connected for news and updates

Height: 6-0

Weight: 180lbs

PROS: Good height for an NFL cornerback. Good enough speed for the position and looks faster on film than he times. Excellent on special teams and offers versatility as a kick returner. Very physical corner despite being a bit thin. Isn’t afraid to stick his nose into a tackle. Catches the football naturally and plays the ball well in the air.

CONS: Is thin and will need to add some bulk at the next level. Despite being physical, can get out muscled by bigger wide receivers when being blocked, struggles to disengage. Taking a big step up in competition, but didn’t seem phased by it during the East West Shrine Game week. More of a zone corner, does not look comfortable in man coverage. Might get looks as a possible free safety.
