2011 NFL Draft Profile: Bruce Miller
Height: 6-1
Weight: 258lbs
PROS: Very high motor player with good hustle. Great production in his 4-year career with over 30 sacks. Will be a versatile player that could fit as a situational pass rusher at defensive end or potentially a stand up linebacker in a 3-4. Does a lot of good pass rushing work with second effort. Smart player that knows his assignments and scrapes down the line of scrimmage well.
CONS: Doesn’t have a true position in the NFL yet. Might not be explosive or strong enough to rush the passer with his hand on the ground. Overall speed may not be good enough to play full time stand up linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. Needs to work on his pass rushing repertoire and can get engulfed in the running game.
