The Redskins have a long tradition of picking what I think of as the BAFP: the best available "flashy" player. You know, either a guy with ridiculously swollen numbers or a bigtime combine performer at a key position. Unfortunately, both corners and both of the QBs that I deem worth of a top ten pick are gone. Fortunately, My pick is made simple by the fact that AJ Green is somehow still available. He is the clear best WR in the draft, and the Redskins are old and lack depth at wideout. If Green was gone, I think Shanahan would take an OLB/Pass rusher like Robert Quinn to prove that he's committed to running a 3-4, but come on!! AJ Green at 10? No question in Dan Snyder's mind.

With the 10th overall selection, the Washington Redskins select A.J. Green, WR from Georgia.

Pick made by: Brian Levenson

The Houston Texans are now on the clock.

10. A.J. Green
9. Tyron Smith
8. Blaine Gabbert
7. Prince Amukamara
6. Da'Quan Bowers
5. Von Miller
4. Nick Fairley
3. Patrick Peterson
2. Marcell Dareus
1. Cam Newton
