I KNOW ALOT OF YOU IS LIKE CHRIS WHO?????BUT TRUST ME YOU WANT TO READ THIS.
Chris Prosinski is a 6'1" 210lb safety out of Wyoming....yes Wyoming has produced a STUD. A very productive tackler in college, few expected the All-Mountain West pick to post a 4.39 40, 39 1/2-inch AMAZING vertical, 4.28 short shuttle, 11-foot-2-inch broad jump and 15 presses of 225 at his pro day...FYI those would have been tops among safety prospects at the combine in the 40, the vert, and broad jump....only Julio Jones had a longer broad jump at the combine.....I know some of you are thinking so what he's just another workout warrior. Don't be fooled by these so called draft experts who said this year is a weak class of safety prospects....they just didn't do there homework. Now that you have some idea who he is and what he did at his pro day lets look at his production.
In 2007 as a true freshman he was a reserve and recorded 37 tkls on the year.....but let's not forget he saw more action at the end of the season and against BYU who was ranked #14 in country at that time....Chris had 13 tackles in that game....IMPRESSIVE FOR A TRUE FRESHMAN AGAINST A TOP 15 SCHOOL!!!
In 2008 he then earned honorable-mention Mountain West honors with (88 tackles, three interceptions, nine pass breakups)...included in those stats are 7 tkls, 3 PBU against #25 BYU; also 9 tkls against #2 Utah and 15 & 13 tkl games against Air Force & New Mexico.
In 2009 he received second-team all-conference accolades in 2009 with (140 tackles, 3.5 TFL, six PBUs, two forced fumbles)...included in those stats are 17 tkls against #2 Texas; 13 tkls against UNLV; 10 tkls against New Mexico; 11 tkls against Air Force; 12 tkls against #18 UTAH; 16 tkls against #12 BYU; 10 tkls against San Diego State; 13 tkls against #6 TCU; 10 tkls against Colorado State and 10 tkls against Fresno State.....THAT'S 10 DOUBLE DIGIT TACKLE GAMES IN 2009 AGAINST TOP TEAMS INCLUDING 4 TOP 20 TEAMS THAT YEAR......WOW
In 2010 he recorded (108 tackles, two INTs, five PBUs, two FF).....included in those stats are 11 tkls against Texas; 12 tkls against #9 Boise State; 12 tkls against UTAH; 7 tkls against #2 TCU; 11 tkls against New Mexico and 3 different games where he had 9 tkls in each game.
THESE STATS ARE IMPRESSIVE FOR ANY STRONG SAFETY OR ANY PLAYER FOR THAT MATTER...BUT CHRIS DID IT AGAINST TOP TEAMS LIKE TEXAS, BYU, BOISE STATE, UTAH,TCU, OHIO, TENNESSEE AND VIRGINIA TO NAME A FEW OVER HIS 37 CONSECUTIVE STARTS COMPILING 373 TACKLES (2-100 PLUS TACKLE SEASONS)
Now you might still be a doubter and think his tackles come like our Kirk Morrison(had to do it) lol..b/c he waits for the play to come to him and don't make a tackle till they have already picked up 5 yards....this guy Chris is a downhill tackler (and he lays WOOD)...see the videos for yourself below...the tapes never lie!!!
ALSO....Tom Shaw trained him after his senior season up until his pro day and had this to say about him....."Chris is one of the most talented kids I have here training with me and I have first-rounders here. He has the highest vertical jump and the longest broad jump in this year class of athletes training here. He does everything you ask him and he is not high maintenance. Coaches are going to love him. I can guarantee that Chris is going to play in the NFL for a very long time....Now for you all that don't know who Coach Tom Shaw is let me give you some info...he's a trainer who has trained and prepared 10 Superbowl MVP's, 122 first round draft picks and 8 number one picks for the draft and NFL.....some of those players he trained are Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Jake Delhomme, Laron Landry, Chris Huston, Aaron Rouse, Deion Sanders, Darren Sharper, Terrell Buckley, Ike Taylor, Chris Hope, Bryant McFadden, Donavon Mcnabb, Calvin Johnson, Craig Davis, Yamon Figurs, Javon Walker, Hines Ward, Joe Horn, Derrick Brooks, Jamie Sharper, James Farrior, Peter Boulware, Al Wilson, Shawn Barber, Mike Peterson, Jevon Kearseand many more the list goes on and on...SO YOU SHOULD RESPECT THIS GUY WHEN HE GIVES SOMEONE A THUMBS UP....HES NOT LIKE KIPER AND MAYOCK..LOL......HE ACTUALLY SEE THEM AND WORK WITH THEM ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS.
And if your wondering about his character....Though Prosinski stayed in his home state of Wyoming, he could have gone to schools like Boise State, Georgia Tech, Harvard and Princeton. Getting recruited by good football programs and Ivy League schools is a clue about his strong combination of athleticism and intelligence -- something his play for the Cowboys also made evident. He majored in business at Wyoming. He received one of five prestigious National Football Foundation National High School Scholar-Athlete awards. 2010 Team Captain.
Tom Shaw on Chris
NOW HOW CAN SOME OF THESE EXPERTS SAY THIS GUY MIGHT NOT GET DRAFTED...PLAYED TOP COMPETITION AND WAS PRODUCTIVE...SMART, STAYED IN SCHOOL TO GET A DEGREE AND NO OFF FIELD CONCERNS....IF HE WOULD HAVE PLAYED FOR LIKE AUBURN PLAYING THOSE SAME TEAMS HE PLAYED HE WOULD BE A TOP 45 PICK IMO....ALSO THE JAGS SENT NOT ONE PERSON TO HIS PRO DAY.(hope its a smokescreen)...IF THEY DON'T KNOW ABOUT THIS KID..SOMEBODY BETTER SHOW THEM THIS POST....THE BRONCOS HAD 3 SCOUTS AT HIS PRO DAY ONLY 5 TEAMS SHOWED UP...BUT THINK ABOUT IT...THE BRONCOS KNOW HOW TO SCOUT DB's just look at there history always had talent there....come on JAGS please give this guy a look.
