We save three million on Manuwai too. We just save around 6.5 million on cuts
at this point, they have to have another guy in mind in FA.
No that 6.4 is enough for Landry's contract for sure.
Ed Reed and Try Polamalu get about 6.5 a year, so he’ll get about 6. 6 × 5. 30 Million 10 guarnetted? Then grab a mid-tier wideout or corner, they may be offering Carr more money than the normal nickel, and are trying to sign him.
"thanks for hating"
Yeah that is what I'm saying
I dont think the cuts have anytging to do with landry… Just the time of the realeases was a coincidence, saved alot of money almost 7 mil

Actually I think it was for roster spots
with all the draft picks in plus the udfa and ufa’s we would have been over 90

To be honest guys
We can afford Nnamdi now, and still have cap room. He’ll want about 14-15. and we cleared up 6, so it was like giving 9 to somebody.
"thanks for hating"
rhett, we are not getting nnamdi
its a nice pipe dream, but he’s going to the Jets, 49ers, or Bucs. We need to sign another S or sign a DE. Maybe even a WR like Floyd.
I'm just saying
he’s affordable.

I think he is affordable
we still got quite a bit of cap room left, but I don’t want him.

Nhamdi doesn't make sense to us
plus he wants to win now, we are building for the future here

IDK
If you are watching the same team I am watching but there is no way we are ready to compete at the high level. Yes, We are definitely better than last year but no where near a superbowl contender. Why spend that much money on Nhamdi, It just doesn’t make sense to me at all. Nhamdi is almost 30.

Gotta say
I approve of everything Gene has done this offseason in building our team.
Its everything the fans have demanded for years and everything our team needed.
Making these cuts is another very good move.
I believe we still have cap room and we definitely have roster room so it looks like Gene has something in the works for signing another UFA after Landry.
<< This guy is excited to see what’s next up Gene’s sleeve.

Beware Harvey's Ninja Wrath
Glad Harvey is gone and with the addition of Spitz and Rackley, Vince become expendable. Im hoping this is to clear cap for another free agent :)

Very sad to see Manuwai go
Now Tyson’s got no one to talk to
I predict Harvey going to Detroit, to reunite with his father, Shack Harris.

This is by far the best FA move the Jags have made so far
Don’t let the dojo door hit you on the way out big guy.
I'm not sure I'm fully on board...
I know harv wasn’t performing but I thought they’d keep him … I guess he didn’t stay in shape. There was also that whole “personal reasons” thing with Manuwai.
Good thing we drafted Rackley.

Harvey
I guess they had seen enough- Lane and Larry Hart being brought in should have motivated the guy but it didn’t….he was beaten out by a rookie 5th rounder….
