Garrard already knows the offense. Since he is the starter, I say he gets benched after the first quater in each game. The only way to get Gabbert up to speed is a ton of playing time in the preseason. Let him take his lumps there no matter how badly he performs. He will be the man sooner or later so why not?

I will bet that Del Rio and gene will want to put him through the grinder to see if he can start or at least mop up in the 4th this year.
