Jacksonville Jaguars right tackle Eben Britton has missed practice since August 8th, with what was categorized as a "sore back". On Monday after practice, Jack Del Rio was asked if surgery was an option for Britton, who's having disc issues in his back. "I think at some point we'll disclose more, but at this point I'd just like to say he's not going to practice," Del Rio responded.
As it turns out, according to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union, Britton had a "minor" procedure performed on his back, but is not expected to miss any regular season games.

Even before his back issues, Britton was having a rough time in training camp. It's not known exactly when his back flared up however, so it's possible it was bothering him the entire time.
