Jaguars ONLY team in preseason with NO sacks
As pointed out in this article HERE there may be a little cause for concern. No need to throw the " It's only preseason..." lines at me since I know that. Everyone does. Everyone also knows we didn't have Kampman, Alualu, and some other starters on the field all the time, but... c'mon... isn't it stuck in the back of your mind that we may digress a little more in racking up sacks before we start taking out QB's on a regular basis? I certainly hope we get much, much better pressure, but I'm not counting on it right away.

I Hope something changes
It is pathetic to watch our team rush the passer. It is like boys playing against men. We may not have the best rushers but there are things that we could do scheme wise that would generate pressure and possibly more sacks. I would hate to see our secondary performance again this season with no pass rush. ….ugghh
Ok, Ok...
…I can kinda understand the starting lineup isn’t synced up yet because they’ve been missing people up front. In all the snaps that have been played against backups, we can’t put together one sack?
For me this isn’t about talent on talent. I know we’ve played our camp bodies against other teams’ camp bodies. For me this is about the coaching staff. We really can’t put together a 5 or 6 man pressure with success? We can’t win one single one on one? What are we really preparing for?
It’s just the preseason, but I do believe you can watch the team play, then look at the stat line and see where there might be a problem.
Totally agreed!
people jumped on me for feeling disgusted over what I saw our defensive line do against ANY team (first, second, or third)….NOT ONE DARN SACK ALL PRESEASON? I can’t blame the divison 3 talent and aging vets returning from surgery we put on the field, I BLAME THE DECISON MAKERS THAT PUT THEM THERE.. the players are out there doing their best. Even in preseason. Anyone whom acutally played organized football knows that playing half-speed on the field will surely get you hurt…so don’t give me that “our guys weren’t going full speed” speel….I don’t buy that. I don’t fault the players, I fault the guys in the suits and the guys with the Jaguar polo shirts and whistles.
FRIGGIN’ MAD….
