Let's all recall...
...how our beloved WR Troy Williamson led the 2009 NFL pre-season in receiving yards... and proceeded to do nothing for the franchise or any other team ever again. I currently have as many 2011 receiving yards as he does. Pre-season stats are deceitful.
Would I be worried if we were 3 games into the regular season, our record was 1-2, our quarterback was sucking, and we had 0 sacks? Yes. But that's not where we are. This prelude to the 16 game marathon that is the NFL regular season is very different. Garrard will succeed when he's throwing 185 yards per game and gets a lot of help on the ground. The defense will be better when the front four are in their healthy rotation of D-ends with Kampman, Roth, Mincey, and Lane. That will make the secondary better and opposing offenses worse. It's almost impossible for that NOT to happen.
I don't think the regular season is going to be as bad as it looks right now. I also don't think it's going to be as good as we all hope. Just take a deep breath, everyone. It's not "just the pre-season", but it certainly isn't the regular season. We have the whole fall to panic and be angry, there's no reason to start now.

Good Performance
I think that it what ppl are looking for. Way too many gaping question marks that have not been answered and to think you can turn it on like a faucet is silly. Our O-Line has been battered in the preseason. Our D-Line has no sacks and relatively no pressure. Our LB crew have only proved that they will be good against the run and torched against the pass. The secondary has improved but after last season that is not saying too much. Our best players on offense and Defense are coming off knee surgeries. I have my expectations set this year at 6-10 to 10-6.
I love how..
love how everyone says, “oh, when the starters get in there, all will be fine”. Last time I checked, defensive lines rotated guys in and having great DEPTH is what keeps the good teams in the playoff hunt..Jaguar fans..how did you feel watching our team lose 3 or 4 games in a row to close the last 2 or 3 seasons? Diddn’t feel good, did it? Well, that’s where the depth comes in, and apparently we have not had much for a while. So I will let some of you rejoice in the fact that our starters will play on Sept 11th, while the rest of us realize that the pathetic defensive line play we saw this preseason backs up our starters.

It was the second game, the home opener against Arizona.
That was same game Nate Hughes got rage cut by Gene after dropping a would-be TD while down two scores in the 4th quarter.
I like to watch.

Broken leg I thought
Either way, he was still the fastest guy on our team in 2010 and he got cut. The point I was making is that his regular season stats would certainly have not been directly proportional to his pre-season stats. Therefore, the Jags won’t necessarily have bad sack totals this season.
