OK.. I know I know.. the "media hates the Jags" comments are tiresome and repetitive.
But I have a few words, acronyms, and blunt four letter words for the NFL Network. One I can think off of the top of my head is a Big Old FU...
Anyway, I waited and watched ALL of Playbook.. they FINALLY get to the Jag/Jets game and 7 min.. dedicated to the Jets.. ! Not a single mention of the Jags D or O in anyway but how it related to the Jets. It was completely JETS! JETS! JETS!
I mean come on.. spend a little time looking at what the Jags did last Sunday and what they could do to the Jets.. or what they will need to do to the Jets to be competitive.. anything.
I mean for G' sakes it wasn't even close to balanced. All the other Playbooks showed the yings and yangs of BOTH teams.. Isn't that what the show is SUPPOSED to do.. Thats why I tend to watch the thing.. ! UGH !!!! But when it came to covering the Jags specifically, it was devoid of a single second.
OK that said, let the NFLN and ESPN dump on our team.. let them dump us to a 10-6 season and playoff run. Because this is simply unbelievable. They talked about the team like we were already 0-10.
I am not sure I buy into the whole bulletin board material as a motivational tool.. But I KNOW the players have to be watching NFL Network, and if they are half as ticked off as I am as a fan, then its motivational.
Shouldn't of all the media outlets out there, the NFLN be the most neutral..? I mean seriously it was like tuning in to Fox News to see what pundits think of the president or what MSNBC thought of the last Republican presidential debate. I think ESPN is less biased against the Jags. I mean for christ sakes they had good things to say about the Browns !
