Lewis, Hill return to practice, Miller not seen

Stay connected for news and updates

Some good news, for now at least, is that Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis and wide receiver Jason Hill were seen practicing today. The team was just in shorts and helmets, however. We knew Lewis was going to test out his calf at practice today, so him returning is no surprise. Hill being back at practice is a good thing, as the Jaguars are going to need all the help they can get in the passing game against the New York Jets on Sunday.

On a note so good note, Jaguars tight end Zach Miller was not seen at practice today. Miller has missed much of the preseason and the first game due to a knee injury he suffered during the preseason. Up until today, Miller had participate fully in practice so it could just be precautionary.

We'll know more on the extent of the injuries come later this afternoon when the full injury report is released.

UPDATE: Tania Ganguli tweeted that Zach Miller was at practice, he just came out during the portion after the media were shuffled off. Tania also tweeted that Lewis and Hill are both listed as doubtful for Sunday's game.
