What I expect to see from Blaine this Sunday

1. Not sensing defensive pressure.

He'll get sacked by Charles Johnson because he won't see it coming.

2. An INT

He'll make a dumb throw into coverage because he's inexperienced and not good at reading NFL defenses, one of the major reasons he hasn't started yet. So he'll get picked off.

3. Several touchdown passes, to Mike Thomas, Lewis (if he starts), and Jones-Drew

Panthers defense is allowing a lot of points and not always to experienced offenses (Kevin Kolb w/ his Cardinals). I expect Blaine to have some good red-zone shots that the Panthers won't be expecting or capable of defending.

4. He'll make some awesome throws.

From time to time, we'll be like "WOW! THAT's why we drafted him!"

I'm willing to bet he won't get picked off.

I doubt he will force things. MJD should shred this defense, and that should necessitate very few long passes. Plus, if the Panthers load the box to stop MJD, even our WRs should be able to create some separation or find open space.

I love him long term but I expect him to get the snot beat out of him and embarassed quite a bit. Outside og Jones-Drew , he doesnt have much to work with out there.
