NFL Injury Report: Panthers @ Jaguars 9/21
With Derek Cox returning to practice, it appears as though the Jaguars should be relatively healthy when they face the Panthers on Sunday. Aaron Kampman has been ruled out by Jack Del Rio already, but the Jaguars sound as if they expect to have Marcedes Lewis and Jason Hill back after they missed week two.

Sucks that Tyso has that nagging F'ing knee injury again..
Alfie, is that the same nagging injury from last season?
Insert alot of stupid, useless quotes here...so I can get a "Nice sig man!"
What sucks about that is it will just get worse or at best never fully heal.. And probobly mean surgury after the season if he makes it that far..
Damn… I know NFL players are always nicked up but I wanted Tyson at 100% to show his true dominance..

was expecting Cox to be out for a few weeks given the report last week.

If nothing else, it’s a testament to how tough he is.

But, and I believe he had a cartilage injury,
coming back so soon may not be the best thing to do.
Having said that, I would not be shocked if Osgood is down for a week or 2

I originally heard it was a punctured lung, but it’s not that.
I’m not sure I’d rush him back. If he can play, he’s a tough SOB.
I plan to live forever. So far, so good.

if lewis cox and hill all play
thats a win

I think Lewis greatly increases the chances of a win
but with Hill and Cox, I don’t see them being as big of “game changers” on Sunday
yes
Hill spreads the field, and Cox is actually better then we think, he’s improving, and trying to be that lockdown corner he envisions himself being. He is way better then Middleton.

Rhett, you make me laugh at how definitive your statements are.

Am I missing something....
or is Hill still being touted because of that one long TD catch last year? Other than that, I haven’t seen much to raise the eyebrows….

Cox gets those picks and great plays because he gets targeted more frequently.
Let’s get a few more games to form a body of work on Cox.

yeah. I would say by far
I still believe Cox was saved from himself last year as JDR felt that he saw the warning signs of another Reggie Nelson type meltdown on the horizon after Cox was torched in the Denver opener.
Sorry, I like the guy, think he has the tools to be a really solid corner but he needs more time.

I will say he can blanket a rec better than Mathis..
Maybe he doesn’t know how to bait a QB or jump a route as good as Rasheen, but he can cover better IMO.

I will say he can’t.
The staff feels the same way.
Mathis is the best corner on the team by far still. Trust me.

Why would I trust you when I can see it with my own eyes?
Mathis is constanly 3 yards away from the rec he is covering…

You might wanna think about that
Hill has been productive that first game, 5 or 6 catches for 60 yards, not bad.
Cox will help the secondary alot, this Carolina team likes to throw the football alot. Not only that, he gives us great run support on the back end.
Steve Smith can still get deep. They got talented WR’s. But, good to see Cox back in the lineup.
Good job last week Middleton. I like what i saw.
B.MILLS
Did anyone see Jason Hill go up and apologize to Rex Ryan about the whole defense is overrated scandal ???
im watching sound fx before the game on rex ryan, Jason Hill actually went up to him and apologized..said they blew it out of proportion..Rex was just like yea thats alright man..too bad your not playing though.

At least I didn’t see it, but if he did, would u say that was cool of him or uh ur um..kinda gay? No offense.

Hill apologised to the fat perv?
LOL, that is really lame. Hill is even stupider than he looks. Though I suppose he doesn’t want to burn any bridges for the next time he gets cut.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend
I’ll take Rex over the cheatriots anyday
fat perv?
Hey, it was his wife. What’s wrong with that?
