Jaguars want a "White Out" against the Bengals

The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to ask fans to wear white in their home match up with the Cincinnati Bengals on October 9th at EverBank Field. To my knowledge, aside from "teal" this is the first time the team has openly asked fans to wear a specific color on game day. The team will be selling a special white t-shirt that is $10, I assume similar to the September 11th shirts they sold. They will be available at the next home game and at Football Fanatics and Sports Mania stores.
The Jaguars are inviting their fans to take part in the team's first-ever "whiteout" game when they host the Cincinnati Bengals at EverBank Field on October 9th at 1:00 p.m.
The team will be wearing an all-white uniform when they take on the Bengals and the Jaguars are asking their fans to do likewise to create a "whiteout" at EverBank Field.
Macky Weaver, the Jaguars Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, said, "With the team wearing its all-white uniform against Cincinnati we thought this would be a great opportunity to show a unified front against the Bengals, so we're inviting all of our fans to take part by wearing white to the game."

They wore all black uniforms, but....
didn’t ask fans to wear black. Blackout and Jacksonville is kind of a touchy subject, so I doubt they would do that…..

Like I said after the opener, we looked like the prison guards in Longest Yard….. Hey now….. That just might be appropriate vs Cincy. I just don’t want Cedric Benson handing the football to Wayne Weaver saying “Game Ball.” after JDR decides not to shoot him for attempting to escape.
Seriously though, I like the teal unis, that’s our color. I was pissed that gold was de-emphasized on the new unis, but I vividly remember Weaver saying teal at home. I still want to see an all teal uni for the Monday Nighter, OR we go all white and allow the Chargers to go Powder Blue.
For the Cincy Game, I’m donning the all white suit similar to what the Green Men in Vancouver wear.

The seats are teal…when the stadium is wearing all white it looks super cool…..we used to do this back in 2006/7
Even more reason to have fans wear teal.
When we wear white, the empty seats stick out.

When I called the ticket office today....
to order some tickets for some friends, They were promoting 4 game mini packs. You could pick 3 games, but you had to take the Bengals game. I assume they are pushing for a big crowd.

With a match against Cincy, Gabbert could possibly face off against Newton, Dalton and Locker (if the titans decide to change). That’s a lot of Rookie v Rookie matchs. Should be interesting

It's the classic Jaguar look.
All-white was the Jags’ original staple. It was the uniform worn when they first shocked the football world in Denver. It was the uniform worn for many of Mark, Jimmy and Keenan’s connections. It will always be a classic look. And a source of many Jaguars memories for me.
Either way, as long as the Jags win, they could wear garbage bags for uniforms and I’d be happy.

I think it would be added excitement and I would rather have that excitement for a bigger game. I understand why though, they may have a hard time selling the rest of the Bengals tickets so they do this to get people to come. They know they will sell out the Monday Night games and the Saints and two other division games. Smart move to sell tickets.
Don't know about you guys, and maybe the mood will change Monday, but I'm feeling pretty positive about this franchise right now
