Report: RB Jalen Parmele visited Jaguars
A later tweet from National Football Post's Aaron Wilson said that Parmele left the Jaguars without a contract. Parmele is a 4th year player that spent the last two seasons with the Ravens and the majority of his rookie season in 2008 after being released by the Dolphins.
Parmele was released in final cuts of this season by the Ravens. At 5'11, 220 pounds, this indicates that the Jaguars could be on the lookout for a bigger back to fill the role that Rashad Jennings was intended for. Deji Karim has struggled to find success so far, recording just 2.1 yards per carry.

I feel like a lot of karims struggles
Have been due to playcalling. He had a couple of draws against Carolina that have widely disputed over the last couple of days. If we are looking for another back, let’s just bring dujuan Harris in. He was a productive back in the preseason. I think we need to add speed guys considering how boring our offense is. Hell, if we are looking at running backs, sign slaton. He can be a solid back up.

Harris is on the practice squad
and practicing every day (I assume). If he were an improvement over Deji, the coaches would most likely play him.

Running Back
Deji has done good , we don’t need another running back on the team ………. MJD , Deji etc…….. And the rest of the crew ……..we have great depth and talent …….we are good to go ……….. Once deji gets a few more touches and the line gels more ……..look out for a few 40 or 50 yard td’s by deji ……he is that explosive guys !!!!!

Yeah right now they would jus hog up a roster spot…..& if they were to get s couple carries it probably wouldn’t amount to much UNLESS we get the passing game GOING.

What I think we're missing in this story is that
Parmele is a good KR, something Karim has been struggling with recently.
Struggling? Really?
He’s returned 8 kicks, he’s averaging 22.5 a return. That’s 2 less yards than last year with an extremely small sample size.
This is about Montell Owens, he’s injured.
I plan to live forever. So far, so good.

I think word earlier in the week was that he would be out 1-2 weeks
but I might be off on that

You're right
it might be because of Owens. But I still say Karim has been struggling on returns. I don’t care what the stats are. Keep in mind, 2 yards less per return than last year is like 7 yards less per return because he’s starting further back. In either case, he’s struggling to cleanly catch the ball and he’s been hesitant. And when returns have been going for big yards all over the league to start the season, I would say it’s been a bit of a let down we haven’t had a memorable return considering the expectations. I know some of it has to do with the sub par blocking we’ve been seeing.
Why cant the o-line be blamed for Deji’s troubles? Perhaps MJD would get more yards per carry if they were improved. Perhpas MJD is so good that he makes up for their mediocre play and makes them look better than what they are.

The offensive line is not the problem.

I was actually thinking about the O-Line last night
Whimper has played every game at RT, right?

well Britton just came back from an injry, so I figured they were just giving him a slow reintegration into the line as RT
After all, then who is out of the starting O-line? Rackley? Nwaneri?
