Hello there Big Cat Country. It should come as no surprise that this coming Sunday, my New Orleans Saints will facing off against your Jags in Jacksonville. I saw that there is no post yet for this, so I figured I would offer my services for this week answering any questions you might have regarding the Saints this year. I'm also more than certain that many other of my colleagues will be stopping by to help answer any questions as well.
To start things off, why don't I ask a few questions for you all as a whole.
1. There's been tons of chatter that Del Rio is a coach on the hot seat. As a whole, what seems to be the feeling about the man coming out of BCC? If he is indeed gone sometime this year, or in the future, has there already been talk circulating about potential replacements?
2. MJD. Is he still the Pocket Hercules of years past...or have all the nagging injuries the last few years finally catching up to the man? Yes I realize that he's still only 26 years old, but when injuries start happening to an RB's wheels, people start talking. Who better to ask than the people that see him on a weekly basis.
3. I guess I should congratulate all of you on moving into a new era with Gabbert. What are the feelings here? Is he more than a pretty boy that makes the ladies swoon? I admit I was not particularly high on the man coming out of college, mostly because of his lines against the blitz and throwing the ball down the field where not stellar. I was not able to see highlights in his first start, although I heard conditions were hardly favorable.
To finish it off, just as an overview, I wish you all luck in the upcoming game. There's already been chatter from some of you fans on the ask BCC thread on the Saints blog about how the game won't be competitive. Don't give up on this...my Saints are unfortunately notorious on playing down to certain teams throughout the years. Any given Sunday after all. So ask away, and please rec up the post.
