The Jacksonville Jaguars will place defensive end Aaron Morgan on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, according to my sources. He was having a strong camp, but injured his should a few weeks ago and tried to play through the injury. Morgan was unable to make a significant impact after his initial injury, but the team seems to like what he brings to the table.
He's expected to bulk up some more, as he did the past offseason, and rejoin the team. With the move to place Morgan on injured reserve and the release of former 2010 5th round draft pick Larry Hart, the Jaguars are somewhat thin at defensive end. Don't be surprised to see them hit the waiver wire for an end, or it could lead to more playing time to guys like Nate Collins and Leger Douzable, both of which who have seen action at defensive end in the preseason.
