Tania Ganguli is reporting that the Jaguars have added second year offensive tackle Daniel Baldridge to the practice squad and rookie linebacker Michael Lockley will be added shortly. Lockley has spent the majority of his Sunday celebrating his practice squad status on Twitter so it doesn't come as much of a surprise.
Baldridge spent the first 12 games of the 2010 season on the Jaguars practice squad before being added to the roster in week 14. He was inactive for three of the four games to finish the season. Against the Redskins he was activated, but never saw the field. At 6'8, 312 pounds, Baldridge has very intriguing size and is a project the Jaguars wish to continue to develop.
Lockley is an undrafted rookie that recorded six tackles in the four preseason games for the Jaguars. He's a 6'1, 237 pound linebacker with 4.6-4.7 speed.
The Jaguars will have six more spots to fill to occupy all of their eight practice squad spots.
