Hey Jacksonville!!! I'm still here.....its official.....Much Love from ya boy "40"
With that tweet it's probably safe to say that undrafted rookie running back DuJuan Harris will be one of the eight players on the Jaguars practice squad when it is announced.
Harris, a 5'7, 197 pound RB from Troy University, was signed by the Jaguars after going undrafted. He impressed many Jaguars fans in the preseason, averaging 4.3 yards per carry. He received a very limited amount of carries in the four games he played in, but made the most of his opportunities.
On 21 carries, Harris accumulated 91 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground. He also contributed in the passing game, adding six receptions for 39 yards and a receiving touchdown.
The Jaguars chose to keep just two running backs on the active roster, Maurice Jones-Drew and Deji Karim. Fellow undrafted rookie Richard Murphy was placed on the inured reserve on Saturday.
