Word is that the Jacksonville Jaguars have released David Garrard. Saw this on Pro Football Talk and FOX Sports. Trying to think of more words to get this posted so I can hit the 75 word minimum.
Simple economics really. $9M for a guy who will likely not be starting the entire season. He starts week 1, his salary is guaranteed for the entire year. I imagine Weaver and Smith asked him to take a pay cut, he refused, they had to do something.
