Wow.. Mark Shrlek(sp) and Who clasless Dougless are ripping the Jags organization to shreds on ESPN... So did Gruden.. Called it nothing but a "money grab".

The truth is that until the Jaguars start to show improvement both record-wise and attendance-wise, there is not much respect they hould be getting nationally. As a fan I respect them, and understand that the franchise is deserving of respect, but if I were not a fan, not sure I would have much respect for this team.
Improvement has never mattered and never will
The national media has had something against the team since we got it and they always will regardless of success or failure

if a guy says he sleeps with four girls, he really only slept with 1(American Pie), if the jaguars attendance is really 65,000, ESPN subracts 30,000 to get the real number. 35,000 and the nation will continue to bash us.

I think it goes
if he says he slept with three girls, it’s actually only been one. So…if he says he slept with four girls, then it’s actually 1.33? I’m not sure logistically how that works out.
You are wrong about that
This team plays well, they will get respect if only because of the fact that they will be in the hunt for playoffs and ptoentially even make the playoffs. I saw plenty of respect in the NY papers after the ’07 season
I recall alot of defensive praise
but not for the team doing anything beyond being good on that side of the ball
