Koetter to be Offensive Coordinator in Atlanta
Contrary to what many people say, I really do believe that Koetter is highly overrated and while he got decent numbers out of some of the sub-par talent on the Jaguars over the past few years, I am just not that impressed by him. I guess we shall see just how good he truly can be, now that he will be working with Matty Ice, Roddy White, Julio Jones, and Michael Turner.
How do you think he will fare?

You JUST beat me to this post....lol
Funny turn of events don’t you think? We hire their OC as coach and they hire our OC? Not sure who won on this deal lol
"Sad fact about our generation: Most ppl would rather hear "you look good" than "you are good". We spend thousands a year on cars, clothes, & cosmetics; Forget that. I can give you a Bible for free. Save money, save your soul. Get right with the Savior, Jesus Christ."- Travis D. Holmes
I think Koetter will do very well in ATL
Probably will get him a HC job in a few years
we'll see. I think that he is better than what the jags produced last year.
His offense just is so bland.
They seem to have a bit more personnel
to pull off Koetter’s supposed passing game. Interested to see…
Overrated?
By who? Almost everybody here says his playcalling sucks. Although I beg to differ, I think seeing him in Atlanta will show us what he really is capable of. I could care less what anybody says because to me he’s a good offensive coordinator. I think a coordinators job, rather offensive or defensive, is to understand the strenghts and weaknesses of their players and build a scheme to best fit them. So with that being the description, in my eyes, he was doing a good job. I don’t ever remember him trying to make our offensive players do anything they weren’t capable of doing. I think he put them all in a position to do what they were good at and then it all came down to execution, which is where the team was lacking. I think he’s going to be really successful in Atlanta with their veteran QB, Hall of Fame tight end, bruiser for a running back and two stud WR’s.
We'll see how Koetter can do when he's got some players to work with.

We are going to find out the hard way...
Year after year all I read on here was Koetter was an idiot, he ran the same plays, he didn’t know how to call pays and the worst OC in the league. Never-mind the fact the only offensive player/s we really had was MJD. Well guess what, now we are going to find out just how “bad” Koetter realy is.
The only good thing is that we just played Atlanta this past year and we wont have to see them again in 3 years.
