Poll: Should Khan change the Jaguar's uniform?

I wanted to hear everyone's opinion about the Jaguar's uniforms. Should Khan consider changing the uniforms as another sign to Jacksonville and the national media that the 2012 Jags are not the same? Do you like the current uniforms? Is it just me or do their jersey numbers and last names look like it was ironed on right before the game? IMO, it really doesn't matter, but a change would be nice.

My Thoughts
I think we need New uniforms with Gold,Black and white (Jaguar) being dominant colors.
Eliminate the Teal Never seen a Teal Jaguar.
The current Uniform looks streched and numbers not aligned
GA Tech or Wake Forest uniforms could be a model as far as shade of Gold
No way man. Teal is our color, for better or worse
Only 3 teams kept teal, San Jose Sharks , NOLA Hornets and us.

I'm in the middle
We just changed our uniforms in 2009.
However, I think with a new owner, new uniforms would be perfectly fine. I was never in love with the current ones, anyways.
In all honesty, I never thought we should have let go of the gold.
I miss the all black uni' s.
Dont change, just bring those back.

I like the flashy helmet
I’d like to see black and gold take a more prominent role without diminishing the importance of the Teal. I didn’t always love the color, but now it’s ingrained. It’s a part of the Jaguar’s identity. The white jerseys should have more color crossover somehow. They should overhaul the design all together. Start fresh…again.

Get rid of the teal!
Teal is a terrible color, impossible to get consistent and just not very manly. I know a girl named Teal. The players don’t like it … remember when Wayne asked everyone to wear teal to a night game couple of years ago and the players said fans should wear black? Look at the old Jacksonville Bulls unis … make maroon the base color and pair it with silver, black and white. Toughen up those uniforms!

you suddenly take away the teal and the vast majority of the fan base will be pissed since there apparel is no longer the same colors as the teams’. Not a good thing. It is not that hard to use teal and have good uniforms. Not really sure what is wrong with the current uniforms. maybe a few MINOR changes or modifications would be that most that possibly should be done

The current uniforms will look just fine if we can string together some successful seasons.
I don't think
the Bucs and Pats (although Pats colors are in the same family) minded too much with a primary color change.
Bucs are also pretty much in the saem family as well

First off
the teal need to be darker, like it was before. I wouldn’t mind bringing back the teal numbers for the away jersey. The other thing that really bothers me about our current uniforms is that the striping is so inconsistent. Look at the difference between d-line, LBs, and the secondary…it just make us look amatuerish.
Having the logo somewhere on the jersey wouldnt be so bad either.

but just because of how sweet they used to look. That style (before “Numbers gate”) was my favorite in the pros at the time.

While the old Bulls uniform would be cool, I really think it would be lost on such a young fan base. Hell, I wouldn’t know about it unless I watched that 30 for 30 about the USFL.
Not many new Cheifs fans knew the team started in Dallas til they did the old school helmets.

jesus that brings back memories. my father ran st. vincents then and they were the Dr. and hospital of the bulls. we used to get to sit in the team box with Larry Cszonka(sp?). the guy even came to our house for dinner and parties. totally got me hooked on football. that guy had the biggest hands and the most F’d up crushed nose. it use to scre the crap out of my younger sister lol wow flashback!

I love
the look of our old jerseys. The new uniforms are entirely too “generic” and have no personality. No logos, just a small, teeny tiny “Jacksonville Jaguars” about 2-inches long in the chest area? Not cool, and I did NOT purchase any of the current jerseys. Hopefully Nike and our owner make exciting changes to our uniform, but nothing drastic…Or go back to the old style. .Remember when the Broncos unveiled their current uniforms? How “new age” they were susposed to be? I still think the Broncs jerseys look pretty cool, but we should go our own direction. I have authentic jerseys in the old style (Taylor in Teal, Brunell in White, Garrard in Black, and the old school MJD in Black…oh yea, purchased the R. Williams in Teal and one in white right after the draft he was drafted in). In heavy favor of a change in our uniforms!

As a Jags fan in the midst of relocation paranoia, I was concerned
The new uni is so basic, it’s almost transferrable. A little part in the center that says Jacksonville Jaguars. No patches, only the Jaguar logo.
The new unis kind of just say, “here we are. A bona fide NFL team. Any team.”

Because i thought the same thing. No ties to Florida anywhere on this uniform! An easilly transferrable uniform that could be plugged in anywhere in the nation. The current unis gave me no added inspiration then, doesnt now, and is a visual reminder of the very real possibility that we could be relocated. Lets ditch the current unis!

Nike doesn't have the ability
to change our uniform, that lies with Khan, the only thing changing is that there will be a swoosh on our sleeve instead of a rebook symbol

I heard
that since Reebok recreated our jerseys in 09’, they owned that color of teal. So Nike we would have to make their own shade of teal. Not sure if that would be true…

i’m pretty sure nike’s shade of teal is darker than reebok’s. i have an old nike McCardell jersey and it’s significantly darker than my new jones-drew jersey.

Wow I never realized how much better the old unis look.
The gold accents is really a missing feature of the new jerseys. The new teal looks damn near like Carolina’s version of teal.

I’m usually a fan of sticking with a traditional look, but since the Jags haven’t established that traditional look, I would be ok with it. Simply because it would it would give people something to talk about, that nobody else in the NFL is doing.

DON'T screw with the Jaguar head
I love it tons more than the elongated, stretched out Jaguar that served as our original logo. We used to paint that thing in the endzones, and I’m glad we dont anymore. Change the shades, bring all black back, andc change the styling of the uni, but leave the current Jaguar head as is….Love it, and I have it plastered everywhere I go: checkbooks, wallet, fridge, work, my car, ect…

we should do this, except in addition bring back the “crawler” on our sleeves and figure out a way to bring our gold back to the uniform as well:
black and gold pinstripes

But we need that Jaguar on the sleeve again. The new jerseys are too plain. I like them but it needs the pazzaz of the Jaguar. ALso for a alternate uniforms wear teal tops with teal pants. That would be awesome.
