Jaguars Will Interview Bill O'Brien, According To Report
The Jacksonville Jaguars add another name to their coaching search, requesting permission to interview with New England Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien according to a report.
Jaguars requested and received permission to interview Patriots OC Bill O’Brien, who still is squarely on Penn St.'S radar.

O'Brien has been an offensive assistant with the New England Patriots since the 2007 season. In 2008, O'Brien served as the Patriots wide receivers coach before moving to be their quarterbacks coach from 2009 to 2010. In the 2011 NFL season, O'Brien took over as the Patriots offensive coordinator, calling plays for one of the best offenses in the entire NFL. Prior to his work with the Patriots, O'Brien was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for two seasons at Duke. He also held offensive positions at Maryland, Georgia Tech, and Brown.
O'Brien is the fourth offensive coordinator the Jaguars have setup for an interview.

This would be my choice
Love his offense, the way he uses his TE’s is awesome.
Can't stand the truth?
No. I don’t trust Coordinators from the Pats. The magic in Foxboro is Brady and Belichick and them alone.

Isn't that usually the case with all great OC
great QB’s
Respect My Authoritah
I think great QB’s have a part in their success. But also as Rhett says below NE coordinators don’t typically have success as HC’s. Trust me I had to deal with one for 5 years in South Bend.

I don't know...
…when a coach moves on from New England they usually fail. Although like said above, I do like how he uses his tight ends, and Zach Miller(if he stays healthy) can be the next Gronkowski.
Anyone interested in making money easy and quick on the interne, let me know through twitter or facebook(preferably facebook).

or...
We could go after the real Dallas Clark. I beieve he is a FA.
Even if Miller was healthy
he doesn’t have anywhere near the same physical tools as Gronkowski

I am open minded to not hiring him,
But Bill O’Brien seems like a candidate who could help develop Blaine Gabbert’s skills and improve our passing game. I know he has Tom Brady, but backups Hoyer and Mallet appear to have been taught well.

Mallet? How can you tell? From some preseason games...
