Jaguars Won't Play Home Game In London Until At Least 2015
There has been some speculation that the Jacksonville Jaguars could be one of the teams who would play a home game in London. In fact, new owner Shad Khan has expressed his interest in expanding the Jaguars brand internationally and wanted to play a game in London if possible. Khan compared growing the brand to what the English Premier League teams do in Europe, playing all over the region. Unfortunately for Khan, the Jaguars are going to have to wait until at least 2015 to play a home game in London because the St. Louis Rams will host a home game there for the next three years, according to a report by the St. Louis Dispatch.
The 2012 game will be a Rams "home" contest, meaning they will play only seven games next season in the Edward Jones Dome. It is also believed that this could be a multi-year arrangement with the Rams, not unlike the Buffalo Bills playing in Toronto.
Recently, the Rams posted on their official Facebook page that it indeed would be a multi-year arrangement and they would host a home game in London in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

they ought to just let the Rams play a home game a year in the LA Coliseum. At least until they finally move there.
Okay question.
How did the Rams get the rights to do this when there are many other teams who want to play in London as well?

How many teams want to give up a home game?
If you want to play there, make it an away game. My guess is Jags @ Rams will be a London game in the future
I could see about 5-8 who would want to give up a home game
Think about the $.32 on the dollar that teams have to pay the visiting club for unsold non-premium (clubs and suites) seats needed to lift the blackout? Off the top of my head:
Miami
Jacksonville
Tampa Bay
Oakland
San Francisco
Minnesota
Kansas City
San Diego
Arizona
St. Louis
Cleveland
Cincinnati

Pakistan is a big country
That’s like saying Khan is from El Paso, so let’s play a game in Houston.

It is a sweet map...
I had no idea that they were the 6th largest country. That being said, if they are only the size of Texas, it must be much more “packed” than I thought. I imagined, much like Texas, plenty of wide open spaces. What this proves is that I am very ignorant about most countries outside of the US.
Sixth largest by population, you mean

I really would like to see the NFL play a regular season game in Germany
So many troops over there, it’d be a guaranteed sell out, unlike the last couple of London games where there were noticeable pockets of empty seats.
Then again, with the 30 for 30 that the Jags trotted out, it avoids any more ridiculous PR backlash. “We signed on for 10 games a year, we only got 9, I’m suing for breach of contract!”
Kind of wonder if the NFL had this in the works already and the Jags figured rolling out 30 for 30 could not hurt and it’d be a good litmus test of fan support. Starts in 2012 ends 2014. So 2015 could be a real big year for the city and fanbase.

Id like to see one in Germany as well. Im out on China though. Saw your tweet the other night. Just cant get on board with the NFL dropping into the RED zone for a game. If we are going to the far side of the world, id rather see one in Austrailia. From what my friends say they enjoy american football over there as well. That would be a great trip.

The NFL was all set to do it prior to the Olympics but backed out late
Think it was supposed to be Seattle and SF. Australia would be a killer. Teams would need a bye week before and after to adjust.

I would just as soon never give up a home game....
That may be selfish, and not for the overall good of the Jags and the NFL, but I love going to games, and by no means could I afford at this point in life to travel to London for a game. If we do play a home game there, I hope I have saved enough money to get me and the misses there.
I don't why are many
people are so eager to see the Jags play overseas, yeah I understand the whole thing about growing the Brand internationally and thats fine, but a international game means one less game that I get to go to Everbank. I think whether we play internationally or not, we still have plenty of room to grow stateside.

I think we should try to play a game in canada and possibly in pakistan where KHAN is from and show them the jaguars! London who needs london if they want the Rams of all teams to play their lol. J/k But if we can get a game in London i think that would be great. I think the commish needs to examine and allow at least a few games here and their played overseas.

Good news
That means Jags won’t have to forfeit home game to expand their fan base, because there’ll be a waiting list by the time the discussion comes up again.

no thanks to London
If anything it’ll give more fuel to the idiot national media that claim the Jags are moving. What about the effect of a transatlantic flight on the players? Tampa Bay went to london this season and didn’t win for the rest of the year, and they had the bye week to recover
