Mike Mularkey, Chuck Pagano, Romeo Crennel....
Joe Philbin, Dennis Allen, Jeff Fisher, and Greg Schiano if he does get hired by the Bucs. Just wondering how Jags fans feel as far as who they would rather have of the new hires than Mike Mularkey. Call me a homer but I like our guy as well as any of them, including Fisher. I'm behind this coaching staff %100! Fisher's record is just okay in my opinion, for the price, definitely overrated and over paid!

Homer
I’d take our guy (Mularkey) over any of the other new hires.. I like Schiano and Fisher after that..
Yeah Murlarkey is going to be very very good for us! I would take him over all those names! Our owner put it best when he said its not about splash its about smart and finding the right man for the job and for the community! Look at teams that have paid very famous coaches and didnt get anything in return
I might have preferred Philbin
I feel like he might be a better overall offensive mind than Mularkey although truthfully with this current staff I am more than thrilled.
Also, our HC will likely not be all that involved with the specifics of the offense, so Mularkey might be the better choice since he has HC experience in the NFL

Completely happy with Mularkey
Especially with the staff he has assembled.
Take stock in your lives, but leave your livestock alone
I feel like we got the best available coach out there and
he has built a very strong staff.
Can't stand the truth?
im extremely confident that
we have a good staff. now lets develop gabbert because truthfully thats all we NEED is a passing game.
wouldve liked schiano, fisher or philbin
Bit mularkey is good for the.young qb

I definitely prefer MM over the rest of these guys.
I like that he had a taste of being a HC, and hopefully gleaned valuable info from that experience.

I think they made the right choice
and he put together an excellent staff, just look at the career of that guy with the hoody, that is the real way to success, put great people around you.

Belichick?
Brady and Belichick himself are the reasons for his overall success- not the coaching staff he puts together.

He wasn't too successful in Cleveland with a different staff.
So, is it JUST Brady?
Fidelis Ad Mortem
well I will be very honest here
I think he himself has been a much better HC in his stint w/ NE. Take Brady out and I still think you would have seen a pretty solid HC in Belichick. So, I do not think it is JUST Brady. I will say I do think Belichick is still best suited as a defensive coordinator.

Also should point out that
his coordinators, whether they make good HC’s or not have proven to be good coordinators elsewhere. Josh McDaniels for instance did well to improve the Broncos offense when he was there. Crennel was a good DC this past year and even when he was with the Browns. etc etc etc
still not sure Belichick’’s greatness is due to his supporting staff

Isn't that kind of what we're hoping for here?
I mean, Mularkey has already said he’s going to be a master delegator, so the onus is on the coordinators and position coaches and of course the GM giving them the players.

I think he was a GREAT DC.
Growing up in NY, I remember those Giant defenses. Outstanding.

I am too young
but still, after reading a biography a few years back, it is obvious this guy was made to be a DC

Those Cleveland teams were not that good either.
That was around the time he made the decision to cut Kosar.

this will be interesting
I like what I hear from Mularkey, and although I don’t know much about many of the new hires, i’ll continue to place my trust in the guys at the top of the franchise.
the real interesting part, however, will be how the franchises fare over the next few years, especially considering how all the heads described st louis and miami as so much better places for a new head coach to take over. after all, according to them, those two have much better rosters to start and have better ownership and general managers (even though miami didn’t have one at the time, and i don’t know if they do now or not).
