Broncos Hire Jack Del Rio as Defensive Coordinator, According to Report
Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting on Twitter that the Denver Broncos have hired Jack Del Rio to fill the defensive coordinator void left when the Oakland Raiders hired Dennis Allen to be their head coach.
Prior to his nine years as head coach of the Jaguars, which was a largely unsuccessful era, he was the defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers in 2002, a year in which they ranked 2nd in total defense. Prior to that he was the linebackers coach for the Baltimore Ravens from 1999-2001.
Denver hired Jack Del Rio as its defensive coordinator.

RIP
I am currently working with Elton John to adapt a version of “Candle in the Wind” for the Denver Broncos 2012 defense.
I would take it as an insult if you didn't troll me on Twitter @JagsTom
You betcha!

In all seriousness...
Best of luck Jack. You were the inspiration behind many, many comments by me that got mild laughter and numerous angry eye rolls, and for that, I thank thee.

I think he could do some nice things with the pieces they have
but.. it won’t matter because of the whole Full/Quarter/Half-Back thing going on.

BTW it seems
Luke Richesson also signed with the Bronocs as strength and conditioning coach. I guess Derrick Harvey will happily show both JDR and Luke all the facilities at Mile High.

Intresting....
Why would he work for free?

He's getting 5 million dollars.
He gets to coach the area he is strongest at, stay actively coaching in NFL football, coach with a HC he is familiar with, pad the resume, and collect 5 million dollars.
Where is the downside?
Fidelis Ad Mortem
think about it
hes getting 5 mil from the jags regardless work or no work so that means if ge gets 1 mil from the broncos owe him 4 mil and if they pay him 2 mil he only gets 3 mil from the jags so he could sit at home and get 5 mil for doing nothing, you tell me what ud rather do

I'd rather get back in the game and prove I'm better than my record indicated
These man all have massive egos. No one wants to come off as a complacent mediocre coach. Maybe he is better as a coordinator.

I don't think you took me seriously. If you want it unbanned, email an admin. But, for now, your Stampede Blue privileges are done.
I'm happy for Del Rio.
I think he’ll get another opportunity to be a HC again one day.
