Mullayo's 2012 rosterbation feat. new QB!
FIRST attempt at a rough offseason solutionn. New quarterback coming with new HC. New 'hybrid 3-4, 4-3 defence Using the Draft's strengths: Good year for 4-3 middle linebackers, CBs, WRs, so lets draft those positons later. Make a splash in FA in two positions: QB and DE. Defense is set, O to be a lot bettter with or without Gabbert. Get linebacker of the future to learn off our current crop of expensive FAs or why bother? Osgood off WR to TE because that's what he is effectively. 6ft5in, 220lb TE! Miller time over. Too many drops.

1)all of your OC are already OC and so they are not going to ake a lateral move to OC this team. So right then and there you have yourself a bad start. The, you have the cajones to mention Schottenheimer as a real possibility. He is perhaps the 2nd worst OC in the league behind a guy named Dirk Koetter. You lose all credibility right then and there.
2)Flynn is a nice Free Agent addition, but it is unrealistic. He is looking to start and sign for a contract worthy of a starter. The Jaguars are not looking for that. They are likely to look for a guy who can be a backup, but step in and start if needed. It is also a bit over the top to go out and get both Mathis and Williams. It would be a waste of money considering the other DEs on this team. Williams is coming off a major injury and so he is a risky guy to get. Mathis seems to be the more loigal of the two to pursue.
3)Your draft made me laugh a bit. First of all, Martin is likely the better option over Rieff, and if Martin is gone, a guy like Kirkpatrick woud almost certainly be the better pick.. Then you go ahead ans suggest Alshon Jeffery or Kendall Wright could be there in the second round. One fo them might, but I highly doubt it as Wright is working his way up the boards quickly and is probably a lock for the first round. As for Jeffery, he is also probably going to be a first rounder, and could actually be the pick in the first for us if he has impressive workouts. Then you have McNutt falling to the 4th which is just insanity. FInally you waste a draft pick on a punter. the difference in talent between a 6th round punter and a UDFA is probably going to be close to negligible. You cannot go ahead and waste picks like that.

1 ) I don’t really follow coaches and don’t care. Why wouldn’t they make a lateral move most of them are out of jobs aren’t they.
2a) I’d be bringing Flynn in as a starter or at least open competition.
2b) Not getting both Williams and Mathis getting one or the other that’s what / means
3 we need a RT. Rieff is a nasty RT. Martin is a soft LT. DeCastro is the best player available there but is only a guard..
McNutt was there on the Sideline Scouting top 200
We need a punter. You get the best one by drafting.
What could of happened; did.
1)none of those OC guys are out of jobs.
2a)fair enough although I am not a huge fan to be truthful.
2b)i did not see how much you used th “/” in your post. Later on I figured it out but still wanted to maintain the point

All I can think of when I hear
Matt Flynn’s name is the list of lottery winning backup QB’s that starts with Scott Mitchell and includes Kevin Kolb, Matt Cassel. They excelled in limited action on extremely good offensive teams. Then faded into obscurity when they left.
or as a student of Jaguars history
Rob Johnson. Best part of Rob Johnson was trading him enabled us to draft Fred Taylor

No way they play 3-4
The whole reason behind Poz coming here was to play the 4-3. Im from NY, I saw first hand how awful Poz is in the 3-4. That would be wasting talent and money. Besides, that 3-4 lineup is terrible.
We won’t be going to a 3-4 defense, unless you’re willing to give up the production of Poz. He came here because we run a 4-3, and he’s not good in a 3-4.
I’d love to see Mario Williams and/or Robert Mathis signed, but I can’t see us signing Matt Flynn (although he has looked great in GB). We definitely will need to sign at least 1 FA receiver, since there’s a good possibility that we’re not going to get immediate production out of the rookies.
I’ve noticed that a lot of people on here are depending on rookies to come in and light it up, but it’s pretty rare that it happens that way, unless they’re a highly polished high first round pick. That’s why you patch your weaknesses in FA for quickly adding current production, and draft players who you hope can develop into starters eventually.
If you look at a lot of the other good teams around the league, most of them aren’t playing rookies immediately, and if they are, they don’t put them in a position where they’re required to have great results immediately.
3-4 won't happen

I never understood what a possession/ feature WR is???
How does a WR become a possession/ feature WR???
How does a WR become a possession/ feature WR???
SERIOUSLY?
One catches the ball to become a posession reciever and one does something spectacular with it to be a feature reciever….
You’re not the Jags head scout are you? He has the same problem.
What could of happened; did.
You have some work to do man, Ive seen a lot of garbage NFL Recievers make a spectacular catch or two.
Doesnt make them legit. Means they got lucky. And you are the first guy Ive ever heard call it “Feature”
Wouldnt it be funny if we had another DE with the last name Salters!
Sooo you couldn't decide on anything and put this/that on everything? lol
the 3-4 isn’t happening and neither is Matt Fylnn, next.

We now have a Top 5 defense
and you want a 3-4? How the hell does that make any sense?
I don't want a 3-4 perse
We can throw in some 3-4 looks because we have the personnel now and then. A “hybrid” defence. As it says up top.
What could of happened; did.
Have you not watched any ofthe games we have done that more so last year but we do ever now and again
