He was playing for the Skins when this happened

I believe it was the Cowboys and they came through to block the punt, he tried to run and got smothered. His face rubbed against the turf and this is what happened.

As if anyone else deserved it??

No other RB faces 8-10 man fronts everygame and still leads the league in rushing and funniest TD dances…

Congrats MJD and very well desrved!

If he breaks the 10000 yard – 100 TD line(with maybe a little post-season success…), I think he will be a guarantee Hall of Famer.

2 1/2 seasons in yardage, and 3-4 in rushing touchdowns, all though could be 1in all purpose.

That we all count on. Congratulations Drew!

Good for him!

As said above, it was very much well deserved.

If the passing game is able to catch up to the run game while MJD is still in his prime and the defense can maintain the 2011 season level of play, this will be a very hard team to beat.

Frankly,

without him…we could have been winless. We should put him in the ring of honor now.

by zulu370 on Jan 6, 2012 3:10 PM EST reply actions

Maybe...

but at the same time, the defense deserves some credit for a few of those wins too.

All the games we could have and should have won

Is really all thanks to the D, they really really stepped it up this year and kept us in them for as long as possible

Dang Tony Bosselli was good!

Like I knew he was good but man…

John Kuhn of all people getting the second-most votes for FBs is garbage.

Green Bay’s running game was atrocious this season, yet he gets more votes than Greg? Talk about lazy voting(if you’re gonna have that position be voted on, then you should, you know, do your freakin’ homework).

by SilentJag on Jan 6, 2012 9:17 PM EST up reply actions

MJD got 40 out of 50 votes

McCoy only got 29 edging Rice with 24. (Each person selects 2 backs). Good to see MJD getting a lot of love from the AP.

The way I look at it is

which other back could have done as well as MoJo on this team, and could MoJo have done as well as he on his team?
I think few could have done as well as he did. And I don’t think there are many where he couldn’t have matched or exceeded their performance.

He's a man's man...

Bogged down in an offense going nowhere fast, and watching the defense make slow trek to the IR, you never once saw a lack of effort from Mojo. Nothing makes me prouder to be a Jag than the way he plays the game. I just hope we get this thing rolling before we wear him out.

save your attitude i got one of my own
