First of all, I'd like to thank everyone here for all of their contributions to this Jags forum. I just returned home from Afghanistan and I'm being completely honest when I say that this site brought me quite a bit of happiness from home on a daily basis. I was a senior in high school when the announcement was made that Jacksonville was awarded a team & throughout college would make the drive home (usually hungover) after the Noles games to use my parents tickets on Sunday. I've missed a few home games usually due to deployments, but have had my own season tickets since 2005 & I've traveled to more than a half dozen games on the road. I love this team as much as anything, except for my future bride, and I'm constantly reading this site & listening to local radio. How do I come home to no Prisco?
My question comes from all the talk of 4 verts. In camp Lee Evans said that it would take half the season before everyone on the offense is on the same page (or something to that effect). Does that refer to WRs seeing coverage and knowing when to break off routs? It appears to me that some of these routs could have been broken off for substantial gains if everyone was on the same page. I can only assume that this comes from repetition & with so many guys learning this system it's not happening as quickly as we all would like. At this point I'm grasping at straws, so any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks for any reply and I appreciate all of the work you do. Also thanks to JPQ, iodrew, childintime, gajagfan, jagfan/tastic/mania/anything else, & Joe Fisher. Seriously, you guys all helped a lot of us get through a very long year in a pretty crappy place & I personally love all of you for your passion of our Jags.
Sorry if the format sucks, this is my first effort & it's from an iPad that I'm just getting familiar with.
