Robbie Gould and Josh Scobee each knocked in first half field goals to keep the score tied 3-3 entering halftime.

After looking terrible early, the Jaguars offense picked up some life at the end of the first quarter and carried it into some more success in the second quarter. However, they only managed three points in the half, but a strong first half performance by the defense kept the score tied 3-3.

On his first pass of the game from Jay Cutler that was intended for Brandon Marshall, Derek Cox stepped in front and came away with a turnover for the Jaguars. While they were unable to convert the field position into points, it was the first of several strong plays by Cox in the half as he continuously shut down his side of the field.

Offensively the Jaguars found rhythm on two drives, but settled for a field goal on one and fumbled on a second when Corey Wootton got to Blaine Gabbert just as he was preparing to throw.

At the half, Gabbert has completed 10-of-18 passes for 120 yards without a touchdown or interception. Cutler has completed 10-of-20 for 110 yards with an interception.
